Half Way Mark

Wow. I cannot believe my time in China is officially half way over. I guess time flies when you are having fun. I have learned so much over the past three months while living in China. There have been many obstacles, challenges, and confusion. However, with all of that there has been lots of new friendships, learning, growth and lots and lots of love. It takes a certain kind of person to want to live abroad. But, It take a lot of guts to move to China. Especially not knowing anything about the country, except the typical stereo types. I pictured China as this very strict, communist country before arriving here. While there are many interesting rules I don’t quite understand in the government, this country is anything but strict. It is full of some of the most interesting and talented people I have ever met. I look forward to my last three months in China. I hope they are as special as the first three have been!

One Night in Beijing

-- A Night at The Peninsula

Delicious Food, and traditional decoration!

Delicious Food, and traditional decoration!

This is not a Wang Fu, the palace of a prince; this is not a peninsula, the beautiful land on the sea; and this is not “a World Cup”, the gather of people with different nationality!

But it is as luxury as the Wang Fu, for the delicious food and decorations; it is as beautiful as the peninsula, for the sunset and moonrise; and it is as diversified as the world cup, for the Beijingers with different nationalities!

Last Friday, Jun 13th, we attend the networking event in the Peninsula Hotel.

Enjoyable time of making friends!

We had the event on the top of the roof where we can enjoy the beautiful view of Beijing City, especially after a heavy rain.

During the event, we met a lot of new friends. They come from different countries: China, America, Holland, France, England, etc. They are elites of different area: IT, Marketing, Management, Advertising, HealthCare, Retail, etc. We met each other, introduced each other, shook hands, and had delighted conversations!
